Hello, my name is Chloe McNellie. I am 18 years old and a senior at Twentynine Palms High School. My goal is to receive a top-notch education and become a team player that contributes to the success of the team. I bring leadership, commitment and the will to push my teammates to the highest standards possible. I will thrive for perfection both in the classroom and on the court. My hard work and dedication to my teammates are the traits that make me stand out amongst my peers.
Being a military child has influenced me to be who I am today. Moving around has given me many amazing opportunities and experiences as a young kid to see what the world is like. I started to become interested in basketball when I was in 6th grade. Once I put the ball down on the court and started playing, I knew it was my passion and wanted to dedicate my time to this sport. While playing basketball, I learned that I am a passionate, competitive, dedicated player, and that really wants to succeed and play at the top level. My academic goals for high school is to pass my classes above a 3.5 GPA and to graduate. For college, I want to get my bachelors in being an athletic trainer and play college ball and have an opportunity to play at the pro level. I definitely had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get where I am today such as obstacles of being a military child that has to make a new start at a new school every three years. Obstacles of having to prove myself on a new team every three years. Obstacles of being a military child and being away from my dad during deployments. Making new friends. Adapting to new situations.
