2021 HighlightsThe most exciting part of my basketball career thus far would probably be, getting the opportunity to continue playing after high school at Butte College. I feel that playing at that level has helped me become a better player not only on the court, but off the court as well. It's taught me that when a challenge is thrown my way I shouldn't turn away, but face the challenge head on because great things can come from moving beyond your comfort zone. The hardest part of the first season I played at Butte was losing in the State Championship. Though we lost one of the biggest games of the season, the loss made me want to work harder. I realized that I needed to regain my focus so that I could work to improve my skills, not only for my self, but also for my team.
I'm lucky enough to be part of a really great basketball program. I have learned a lot in my last two years of college basketball; the commitment it takes to be a good basketball player, the value of teamwork, and how losing may be hard, but in the end it teaches you how to be a better player.
I'm looking for a program to transfer to after this 2023-24 season that will be a good fit for not only my athletics, but also my academics. I feel that my work ethic, personality, and concentration will have a positive impact in your program. Having played a variety of sports throughout my life I know that I have what it takes to play at the college level.
