As I've grown older, my love for this game has only grown stronger. Basketball, to me, isn't just a game. It's so much more than that. It's my safe heaven.
Playing basketball has taught me three things:
1. My strength comes my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2. I may not be the tallest, fastest, strongest, or most talented, but I do have the most heart.
3. It's okay to not be the best, but it is not okay to let anyone out hustle you.
It is because of these lessons that I have learned that I hope to further my basketball career at the collegiate level.
There's a quote by Swami Sivananda that says, "Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret to success." I believe that this holds true in the classroom, on the court, and in everyday life.
