My name is Danielle Rinaldo. I am a senior at Merino High School, which is a 2A school in Northeast Colorado. I am actively involved in many of the school's extracurricular organizations as a leader. I am a all around athlete, participating in volleyball, track, and basketball. As starting point guard and setter on my high school varsity teams for 3 years, I have received All Conference, All Tournament, and All State Honors. I have made it to the Colorado State Track meet all 3 years. I have participated and placing in every event I compete in. I helped my team win the State Track Championship title this year. My passion is basketball.
I consider myself to be a committed team player, unselfish, who likes to push the ball, fast break, and find the open player. I believe my strongest skills are defense, ball handling, passing, and breaking down defense with my dribble. I want to pursue competitive basketball at any divisional level in the Mountain Central/ Central states that shows interest. This has been a goal of mine ever since I've started playing the sport. A degree in sports medicine is the direction I want to take with my future education at a 4 year college.
