Kayleigh mannering '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 7" shooting guard/guard from Peyton, CO. I am a currently a Junior at Peyton high school.   My freshman year I was the point guard and lead scorer on the JV team, I was moved up to varsity mid-season.   My skills were put to the test right away, I started my first varsity game as the PG against the best team in the state due to injuries. I had a solid sophomore year.   I pushed myself and grew tremendously over the summer of 2018, and made the traveling USJN team for the Boulder Rockies U17 AAU team. (www.rockiesbasketball.com)   As a junior,  I have moved more into a shooting guard role, where I am team captain and  my current stats are 11.9 ppg, 85 ft%, 31 3p%, 41 2fg%.  I was invited to attend the Steph Curry's Underrated Tour in Phoenix in February 2019 where I made the top 25 (https://www.underratedtour.com/the-underrated/)

This spring/summer I will continue with the Rockies AAU team. I also run cross country and have qualified for state the past 3 years and I am team captain. I currently have a 4.03 GPA and I am ranked 6 out of 56 in my class. I have been on the National Honor Society and A honor roll/principal's list since I was a freshman.

I am looking for a college that has outstanding academics along with a competitive women's basketball program. I have an strong work ethic and I am dedicated to basketball and academics, I am interested in studying business.
