My main goal is to play at the collegiate level. I like a challenge and am very hardworking. I have outstanding court vision and tremendous passing skills, especially for my age. I can handle the ball under pressure, through a press, double team, and while being face guarded by a talented defender. I also am a very good shooter, including 3 pointers, off the dribble, off the pass, and quick, stop on a dime, pull ups. I obviously am trying to improve on all my skills everyday, even if it's just throwing a ball at the same spot on a wall for 20 minutes. I try to spread the ball out to all my teammates, and always try to turn a good shot into a great one. I am a positive and energetic player and will always help a teammate, opponent, whomever, whenever I can. I participate in sports other than basketball. I play field hockey, and I also do track and field. I used to play softball very often, but I dropped it for track, so I can be training for basketball even more. I do short sprints in track to train to have the capability of sprinting down the court full speed, and I train my sprints even after running a mile or sprinting for half an hour. I also do hurdles to work on my jumping abilities, and I am looking at also participating in the high jump to work on my jumping ability for rebounds, blocks, intercepting passes, tipping passes, and to all around expand my athleticism.
Academic wise I am a straight A student and have had marking periods where I received exemplary honors after getting straight A+'s. I was in Algebra 1 Honors as an 8th grader, and am in Geometry Honors, World History Honors, and Earth Science and Essentials Honors, and English Honors as a freshman.
