I have been honored to be a three sport varsity athlete in High School, but my true passion has always been basketball. My intense work ethic started at a young age on my driveway, and my goal is to take it to the collegiate level. I have always lived by the motto, "Nothing is given, it has to be Earned."
I am a strong shooter that loves the three point line, but I am also not afraid to take it hard to the basket. I am a tough defender that is not afraid to step in and take a charge. I never put my goals ahead of the team's goals. I am a true believer that we can go far if we can work as a team. This leadership quality led me to being honored, and appointed as a Captain my Junior year. It also helped our team reach the State's Championship game.
I take my intense work ethic off the court as well, and into the classroom. This has allowed me to maintain a 3.84 GPA, as well as get inducted into the National Honor Society. I am also a member of other academic organizations, as well as the Athletic Leadership Counsel, and Link Crew (an organization where selected members help acclimate new students).
I feel it is important to give back as well, and I have been very active in youth development in basketball and field hockey for the last 4 years. Since the Pandemic, I feel social and emotional wellbeing of athletes has become a concern. I have developed a program called "Girls Ballin With Confidence." The goal of this organization is to help girls build skills on and off the court. We take time to talk about some of the experiences they may encounter, or the insecurities they may have, as they progress through school. I have had great role models, and I would like to be that for others.
If you are a College or University that is in search of a hard working player, one that will show you passion and dedication on the court, as well as in the classroom, please take a look at me. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me.
