Jalissa Rodriguez '17 Recruiting Profile

I've been a three-year starter at the point guard position for The Taft School Girls Varsity Basketball team. Taft plays in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) in the Class A Division, which is highly competitive, and most teams in the league have multiple college-bound players on their teams. I was named team captain for my junior year and have been selected All New England NEPSAC Class A All Star two years in a row. My career highs thus far is 29 pts in one game, 10 assists in one game and 10 rebounds in another game. I am also a recent National Puerto Rico U18 Women's basketball team invitee. My ultimate goal is to attend a very good academic institution with a very competitive basketball program. I want to be part of a team that emphasizes unity with a coach that pushes me to achieve great things both on and off the court. It is my hope to find a school that is a perfect fit for me both academically and athletically because I truly value the term student/athlete.
