Taylor McKibben '28 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball my sixth-grade year in 2021 at a camp and fell in love with it. I am striving to play in college and go to the WNBA. These goals inspire me to never stop working and to teach others the same thing.

I am very coachable and an extremely hard worker. I am capable of playing every position well, but I do my best as point guard. I have great ball handling skills, good rebounding skills, good shooting, and high basketball IQ. I work very well with others, and I am adaptable to change. I am a great team leader and very encouraging and uplifting. I love to win, but I play to improve, exceed, and have fun. When I am in a game or practice, I give my all the entire time, while being sure to help out my teammates and encourage them. I love to see my growth and my teammates growth when we play or practice.

I help coach younger children at camps and after school basketball programs. I enjoy inspiring children to improve and try their best as well as seeing them grow and love the sport. I strive to teach others everything I can about basketball and teamwork.

I had a 4.0 GPA all of last school year and I am going to be working hard to continue with that for the rest of my high school and college life. I am a great learner and a great teacher; I am always helping my classmates learn a concept if they don't understand, many of my teachers even call me the "mom" of my class.
