Taryn Soumas '21 Recruiting Profile

Basketball is my passion, its what excites me, every time I am on the court I am always trying to be the one giving the most effort out of all ten players.   Many would say that being 5'3 is a disadvantage in basketball, but I am the player I am today because of my height.   I am a student of the game and love the challenge of being a point guard and leading a team.  I try to get my team involved whenever possible and do my best to bring fun and energy to whichever team I am on.  I work hard on defense and hunt the paint at every opportunity. It has been my dream to play college basketball since I was about 4 years old and I put in extra work during the season and off season.
