Personal Statement

I am 16 years old and have been playing basketball since 2nd grade.  I started playing travel ball in 5th grade and I've been playing year round ever since.  Something that makes me different from other girls is that I played tackle football in 4th and 5th grade. I have speed, strength, and athletic abilities that make me a standout athlete.  I love being in the weight room, working out, and getting stronger. My ultimate goal is to play on a Division 1 team. I love to compete at a high level and know that I can make that happen! As a freshman I was a varsity starter and I broke the school record for 399 points during the season. I was voted unanimously for first team All-Conference, as well as All-State IBCA honorable mention.  At the end of my sophomore season, I broke my record from the year before with 513 points in a season, was voted MVP of my conference in addition to a unanimous first team selection,  All-Area Team, and IBCA All- State Honorable Mention.  I made the Girls Prep Hoops All-AAU 2nd team after last summer with the Wisconsin Lakers. During my junior year, I eclipsed 1,000 points in my 68th game and broke the All-Time scoring record for my school.  I earned 2nd Team All-State AP, 3rd Team All-State IBCA, and 1st Team All-Conference Unanimous after my Junior season. Illinois Prep Hoops has me ranked 23rd in the state and 4th in my position as shooting guard. I look forward to playing again with the Wisconsin Lakers for my last AAU season where we will be competing in the Select 40 Power 24 League.

  • I played tackle football in 4th & 5th grade and we made it to the championship each year. I scored over 30 touchdowns and played defensive end. I loved playing football and it helped me with my toughness I have on the basketball court.
