Abigail Ryan '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated, teachable, and ambitious athlete who always strives for the best. I have fallen in love with basketball ever since a young age due to the comradery, leadership, and fast paced aspects of this game. But I particularly love the competitiveness that basketball requires, for all my life I have loved competing whether it be with my four other siblings, all my sports teams, or even against myself. 

I have played many sports including ice hockey, softball, and field hockey; however I have competed in cross country and track as well, earning first in my division and further. Sports have always played a big role in my life and I simply cannot go without the joy that they bring. I would say I am a huge team player, as I always seek to put the team first and lead not only myself but others to success too. 

Although sports are very prevalent in my life, I also like to pursue and balance my interests. I am very devoted and self-motivated type of student for I find myself wanting to constantly challenge my work whether it be on the court, in the classroom, or everyday activities. 

I am willing to put in the work but also learn from others to further my game.
