Kendra Chin '17 Recruiting Profile

As a young kid, I was able to experience a variety of sports, but I was never the center of attention. I was always in the background. As I got older, I felt like basketball was the sport I should be paying more attention to and I wanted to try my best to earn my way to the top. I wasn't born with the skill others may have, but I'm always willing to put in the time and effort into improving my game.

Although basketball is my passion, school is still my main priority. I've managed to maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout high school. I've always dreamt of playing basketball at the next level and if it could become a reality, that would be the best thing that has ever happened to me. I couldn't imagine my life without basketball. 

I'm going into my senior year and I know I've gotten a late start to the recruiting process, but my goal is to be able to play basketball at the next level. I would be thankful for any opportunity presented to me.
