Simran Jhalli '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach, 

My name is Simran Jhalli. I am in the high school grad class of 2026 and I am committed to pursuing my love of basketball at the post-secondary level. I intend to continue playing basketball in college. I've always enjoyed competing and pushing myself to be the best I can be. 

I have grown up in a very basketball orientated family. Despite the fact that I have been playing basketball for most of my life, I still consider myself to be in the early stages of my development. While I continue to get taller and stronger and work hard on my skills, I continue to progress. 

Though I’m 5’6, I am still in my growing stages. I frequently play the 2/3 position. Outside shooting and ball handling are two of my strengths, which I continue to improve on on a regular basis. I am currently working hard on my decision making and getting aggressive towards the rim. 

Currently I play for Team Finish and I compete and am doing skill work year-round. I continue to work on my game every single day to be the best player I can be. This year I was part of an elite training program from 6- 8am three times a week throughout the school year where we worked on strength and conditioning, mental performance training and lots of individual work. All of this extra work helped me excel as an 8th grade starter on my school's junior basketball team. Also being called up to play for my schools senior team. Currently i’m playing on the Senior Girls team as a grade 10.
