Personal Statement

I was introduced to the game of basketball when I was 9. However, I wasn't in a community that encouraged women in pursuing anything in the athletic field. Having parents who are supportive and encouraging is the biggest blessing anyone could ever have in their life. Without their support, I wouldn't have set the high expectations that I deserve.

3 years ago I decided that basketball was what I wanted to do forever. Ever since then I have been putting in a vast amount of work and hustle to get to where I want to be, for my parents, but mostly for myself. 

I would love to play basketball at the collegiate level, that's why I'm doing whatever I can to ensure I get a chance. I'm hoping that through this you guys will give me a chance to prove myself and my capabilities. In order for me to play the game that I love while changing the perspective on women who play sports in the Middle-East.
