Clara Bandh '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Clara Bandh and I am 18 years old, born April 29th, 2003. I am a 5’6 combo guard from Stockholm, Sweden and my club team is Viby Basketball Club, where I am team captain and appointed biggest developed player during season 2019/2020. My current school is Tibble Gymnasium Campus Täby with major national athletic education where I can combine a high level of basketball and education with focus on social science. I am very ambitious in the classroom and I have a high interest in learning new things and maintain a high GPA.

I am a skilled point guard but I like to keep my game simple, I play with a high pace, leadership and responsibility. In general I am an engaged and loud player who loves to cheer my team to success on and off the court,  buy my biggest strengths are how coachable I am and my ability to immediately adjust my game, and my strong and outstanding work ethic.

Except for training with my club team and school, I also participate in many camps and sessions with different, experienced, international coaches. With my club team I’ve participated in many national and international tournaments. My team was supposed to play Elite Eight in the Swedish Championship in 2020, but it got cancelled due to COVID-19. In 2019 my team came to the semifinals in Gothenburg Basketball festivals and we have also played successfully in several international tournaments. We got silver in Barcelona basketball tournament 2018, two thirds places in Lathi Easter Tournament, 2019 as well as bronze in Bærum Open, 2019.
