Katie Keeney '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2023 5'10 guard/power forward from Carlisle, IA. I take both my academics and athletics very seriously and show this with my classroom and athletics achievements. I am a varsity letter holder in 2 of the 3 sports, was named second team all conference in basketball as a sophomore, and been on honor roll every semester possible. All of my high school teams have been named academic all conference. My outlook for school and sports is to always ensure I am constantly pushing both myself and my teammates to improve everyday. I am leading my basketball open gyms this offseason to develop our level of play and commitment to this upcoming season. I aspire to take my basketball career to the next level of play after high school. I believe I would be an asset to a team. 

Outside of academics and athletics I do volunteer work with my church. I participate in yearly mission trips where a group of us travel to help repair homes in poverty stricken areas in the Appalachian Mountain range. I also help in other events that my church hosts throughout the year. I am dedicated to helping improve others lives and help spread God's word.
