Ariana Vergara '25 Recruiting Profile

My future aspirations are to become a real estate agent and or become a financial advisor. My goal will be challenging but as a student athlete, I have learned to overcome obstacles within and outside of school. Growing up, I've always had to work for what I wanted in order to achieve my goals. That is a trait that is instilled within me. I have always been a hard worker and will always have to learn to balance out my tasks in order to become a successful individual. Now one thing that makes me different from other athletes would be my mental toughness. Since I go to a school that is very diverse, we have had to face a lot of adversity with refs throughout our games. Most athletes would hang their head on their shoulders and give up but instead I proceed to move onto the next play. If we aren't able to properly run our offense, then our team can count on our defense to determine the game. A team can score all the points in the world but if they don't have a good defense then they won't be able to get crucial stops.
