Hailey Wallis '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Hailey Wallis and I am going to be a senior at Grundy Center High School in Grundy Center, Iowa in the next coming school year. This past season has been quite the ride, from playing in the state championship game earning runner up, from being selected as the 2A all tournament team captain, to being first-team all conference, all the way to earning multiple All-State awards and everything in between. I am looking to pursue a career in design and am looking for schools that will fit my goals. I rank 1st out of 49 in my class with a cumulative GPA of 4.0. I am a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Senate, and am on the yearbook committee. Besides basketball, I participate in volleyball, track, chorus, musical theater, as well as church youth group, and club volleyball and basketball. 

I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember. I began playing AAU ball in third grade and have had a passion for the sport ever since. I pride myself on hard work, doing my best, and being a leader for my teammates. My coach-ability and work ethic are a few of the things that would make me great fit for a college program. I hope that my assets can be utilized at the next level as my passion and drive for the sport can help a potential school win a championship.
