Personal Statement

I am looking to continue my academic and athletic career at a college/university which will continue to help me become the best person that I can be both on and off the basketball court. I take academics seriously and work as hard on the court as I do in the classroom. Along with this desire to succeed, I bring a willingness to do what is needed to better the team. I can be versatile in my role on the court by playing any of the five positions I am asked to play. I can be a scorer or a shutdown defender when called on to do so. I am very coachable and unselfish and bring a team first attitude. I encourage my teammates so that our team becomes the best it can be.

The 1-Day Elite Camp is designed to expose campers to training and competition that they will find at the college level. Campers will also be provided plenty of opportunities to compete so they can demonstrate what they have learned. The camp is open to basketball players 14 years of age or older and will feature high level concepts and skill work.

The University of Dubuque’s Women’s Basketball High School Girls Elite Camp features elite level workouts that are focused on improving individual skills and competitive team play. The UDWBB High School Girls Elite Camp is designed to give high school student-athletes a look at the training and practice regiment at the college level. Head Coach Mark Noll, Assistant Coach Justin Smith, and current UDWBB players will instruct the camp.

The Cornell College Women’s Basketball Elite Camp is for the advanced and serious-minded high school player looking for a dynamic series of position-specific drills designed to challenge different skill levels and give players an opportunity to develop increased fundamental ability in all areas of the game. The Elite Camp is designed to prepare student-athletes for the reality of their dream of competing on the collegiate level. Campers are given insight on the college life from players and coaches, and although it’s a one of a kind advanced camp, there will be still plenty of time for fun! Some of the exciting and unique features of Elite Camp are: Individual Workout Sessions, Strength and Conditioning Information, Academic Informational Sessions, Video Breakdown Sessions, and Alumni Panel.
