Kayla Grant '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayla Melissa Grant.  I am a 5'10" power forward from Bowling Green, Kentucky.  I am passionate about academics and basketball and want to continue my education as a student athlete at the next level.  I'm a late bloomer as far as basketball is concerned (started playing in eighth grade).  I've continued to improve every year and worked myself into a three year starter in high school (will be four after this year).  I will make an immediate impact wherever I end up going to college in the community and on the basketball court.  My senior season is off to a great start.  Through the Christmas break, I'm averaging 18 points and 12.5 rebounds (which is 5th in the state of Kentucky right now).  I have raised my FT % from 54% last year  to 82% after dedicating my summer to become a better shooter.  I have also made more three point shots this year than I had for the three previous years combined.
