Kelsey Slone '28 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to one day play in the WNBA, and become a better student athlete along the way. I have people tell me all the time to take more shots, but I would rather be on a winning team than just score points. I am more worried about doing little things, fighting for rebounds, going after loose balls or making an extra pass than I am about shooting an out of control shot. I want to be the team mate that I would want to play with. I want to be the team mate the younger girls look up too. I want to be the player everyone remembers for the right reasons. I love my family, I am loyal to my friends, I trust in God and I play to have fun. I have played basketball for (as of 2023) six years, and softball for eight years.
