Shyann McCummings '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shyann McCummings, I am a military dependent as my dad is in the Army. I am a dual sport Athlete in which I play basketball and run track for my varsity team in High school. Ranked #24 Class of 25 Prep Girls Hoop and #5 SF in Class 25 Prep Girls Hoop in Louisiana. I pride myself on Academics and being a great Student Athlete. In my 4 years starting Varsity Basketball, I was selected 1st Team All Southwest Team 2023-2024, 2024-2025. 1st Team American Press All Southwest, 2nd Team American Press All Southwest Louisiana Basketball Team 2022-2023 and earned 2nd Team All State 4 A 2024-2025, 2022-2023 All State Honorable Mention 4A, All State 2023-2024, 2023-2024   2025-2025 District MVP 3-4A along with (3x) All District 1st Team and (2x) All District Defense 3-4A, 2023-2024, 2024-2025 (2x) All Vernon Parish 1st Team. Completing 4 years of Varsity Basketball, I accumulated 2,000 points and over 1,000 rebounds. I have also  accomplished some great things in track and field such as (2x) All American for AAU Track and Field for Junior Olympics.  I have earned State Finalists 2x in multiple events and have won District title in open races along with Runnerup in Regional meets. My dream is to compete on the highest college level and maintain academic high standard. I am a hard worker and a great teammate.
