I started playing basketball in 9th grade and coaches and parents thought that I could go somewhere with my athletism and drive, so I decided to start seriously practicing to see what I could accomplish. After my first year on varsity in 10th grade, my coaches commended me on my ability to learn quickly, work hard and be a leader on my team. I always want to be the best, the best player, the best athlete and the best teammate I can be. I loved getting feedback from those who are better than me and I always have plenty of questions to ask. I will never stop learning.
I value my school work and grades more than anything, I pride myself on my academic achievements and honors. I go to a very competitive and challenging public school., so I am always working to improve my grades and understanding of class content.
Lastly, I have very high hopes for my future and I want both academics and athletics to play a role in that. My ultimate goal is to earn degrees in international bussiness and marketing. I will do what it takes and work to make sure those goals are achieved.
