I want to go to a school that I can continue to play basketball at. I've played many different sports and love being part of a team. I believe playing a team sport in college will not only enable me to continue to compete and help my team at a high level but also create new friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime. I see how my father played Rugby in college and today he still has those relationships with his friends on his team. I love pushing myself and my team at practices as thats where you put in the work and get better. I love basketball because it allows me to play on both sides on the ball and the ability to showcase how a good defensive play can results in an easy offensive transition. I currently play AAU on the Bay State Jaguars National team since 4th grade. I've been lucky to have one coach since 4th grade (Laurie Bollin) she has helped me and continues to push me more and more each day to be a better player and teammate. I love traveling with my AAU team and playing against some of the best talent in the country because that only shows where I need to improve to be able to compete at that level. In addition to playing AAU,Youth and now High School I love back yard workouts with my dad. He has coached me and taught me since I could pick up a basketball. Family is everything and having he and my mom as my biggest fans motivates me to work hard each day.
