Jillian Hayward '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals and dreams for being on a collegiate team is to do my best, be a team player, and be encouraging. I grew up in an area where becoming something but wasn’t what anyone believed in. But that’s not me, I always believed that I could become anything I set my mind and heart to, for me in this case is college basketball and becoming an FBI Agent. What makes me different is that, no matter who or what tells me I can’t do something, I try to make the best of it and do it. I struggled my first year of high school wirh grades, then I was told I wasn’t gonna be anything, so I buckled down and I am making school my top priority. I think I am a good candidate because I have a heart for basketball like no other. If I’m not at school, I’m outside playing. My dream is to play college basketball and prove all of those people that I can become something, and that something is a college basketball player.
