As I moved around a lot through my middle school years, I was never able to set my focus on one place or a group of friends. Starting basketball in the 6th grade definitely had a huge impact on my life, as I carried my love for this sport to every place I went. I have continued to play through my high school career. Yet training at Greg Grant Basketball, starting the second semester of my sophomore year, truly gave me the push of confidence I needed to strive to play this sport throughout my college years.
This sport has taught me how hard I have to work to get something I want. Playing basketball has made me realize how actually trying and working towards a goal can make you a better and happier person. Since my training began, I have grown to learn my worth and the skill set I can showcase towards colleges and my coaches. All I want is to continue to improve my game and stick with the one thing that has always been there throughout my life.
