Emily Kellen '26 Recruiting Profile

Ever since third grade, basketball has been a core part of my life and my first love of sports. Over the years, I've had the privilege of playing in multiple positions, from post to point guard, where I currently thrive. I love the fast pace of racing up and down the court, competing hard, and working with my team to win the game.

While I enjoy scoring with layups and shots all over the court, I love making wicked passes that set my teammates up for success. Although I'm never the tallest on the court, what I lack in height I make up for with speed, strength, and relentless determination. 

As a student-athlete, I am highly driven and don't neglect either side of this title. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA while consistently training year-round—whether in my home shop, garage weight room, or the school gym. I don't strive to be perfect because perfect isn't realistic, no matter who you are; instead, I strive to improve myself and get 1% better every day, whether on or off the court. 

I plan to pursue a degree in business, with a focus on finance and accounting, and I look forward to joining college clubs and honors programs. Wherever I attend, I will bring full commitment and dedication to both the college's academic and athletic programs, striving to improve myself and those around me every day.
