Macy Birkholz '24 Recruiting Profile

Athletically and academically I strive for perfection. I try to keep pushing myself to be better than I was the day before. When I play, I can put the stress of school and academics away, and be myself.  I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe that have the talent to compete at the collegiate level, but also the grit, work-ethic, and heart to succeed not only on the court, but in the classroom as well. What I lack in height, I make up for in hustle and tenacity. Probably my biggest inspiration for playing basketball, has been my mom. She is by far the hardest working person that I will ever know. She has been able to share her passion with me. Everything that I learned about this sport, I learned from her. I always hope that a little bit of her shines through when I play.
