Madeline Guetzkow '23 Recruiting Profile

2020 Personal Statement: My name is Madeline Guetzkow and I am a multi-sport athlete who has been playing basketball and volleyball since the 3rd grade.  Last season, as a freshman on the Mayer Lutheran Varsity basketball team, I was able to make a significant contribution to my team’s overall success.  

In 2021, as a starter on my Varsity basketball team, I was able to contribute on both ends of the court.  Our team was able to win our section and make it to State for the first time in 20 years.

I have been in the past and wish to continue to be a high achieving academic student. With both of my academic and athletic accomplishments I know what it takes to be organized, manage my time and to stay focused on my goals.
