My goal is to play basketball at the highest level possible. And get a great education along the way. I believe I would be a great candidate for any school. I strive for the best at everything I do.... "Everything"... “Academics, athletics, and life”.
Nothing has been truer than a resent building block I had. I played on the same AAU team for 5 years and the club decided to move in a different coaching direction. The new coach’s strategy was to move to players with height & length. Being 5’6 and out of my control, this left me outside looking in. This being my 1st cut, I took this hard. Yet, it sparked a drive in me I have never seen before. I was soon offered a position with North Tartan before finally accepting another offer to play up with a D1 2023 club. That experience helped me learn ways to lead upper classmen. Also let me look in the mirror. Where I made a commitment to myself, that I will never give anybody a reason again! Because of a mindset like this, I have had the great opportunity for success in all three. “Academics, athletics, and life”.
As a student - I have retained a 3.9+ grade point average. I am vocal, I ask questions, work is always in on time. Allowing me to help others along the way. Later finding that learning style helps me as well. I take great pride in my grades and how well I do. This is my primary goal that will last far & beyond basketball. Always strive for the best.
As an Athletic - I treat things the same way. "Strive for the best." My endless effect accompanies my explosive physical strength and athleticism. Consistently makes me one of the leaders on my teams in most categories (Assist, Scoring, Minutes & Rebounds 😊) I prepare & watch film before each game. "Stay Ready" I welcome defending the best players each game and I'm always entrusted to finish games. Being a point guard, I always make sure the offense is running efficiently. If I am lining people up, controlling the typo of play or simply giving my teammates a better opportunity to score. Understanding this is bult on and off the court. That brings us back to my drive. As my teammates would say, " You're always doing something." Those words define me. My drive for excellence has not been easy and sometimes comes at a cost, but it's part of who I am, and I would not change a thing.
As a person (Life) - I treasure watching videos, cooking and hanging out with friends. between basketball events and workouts throughout each year. I make it a goal to treat everybody like I want to be treated with the utmost respect. (The golden rule) People (Teammates, Coaches, Teachers, Friends & Strangers) describe me as a Loving, Caring, Kindhearted positive person all the time every day. And if that is how I am remembered, Life is good!
These combinations of who I am makes me confident. What I can being to the next level would not only fit but strengthen any school & community I attend.
Thank you for viewing my profile and I look forward to building a relationship with you & your community.
