Truth Taylor '17 Recruiting Profile

After I graduate high school I want to be a student athlete and major in Physical Therapy. I would love to join the SEC conference and become an elite player. I am a well rounded player, have a great basketball IQ. I started playing basketball at the age of 6, attended basketball camps, played for both city and AAU teams. In junior high I played for Hardy Middle in Jackson ms my 7th grade year and Hickory Ridge Middle in Memphis TN my 8th grade year.  We went to the city finals with both teams and we won my eighth grade year. Graduated High School 2017. Won Region and District 6A Championships 10-12 grade and Was enrolled in Miss. Gulf Coast CC.  2017- 2020.

COVID 19 season I was at Shaw  University . We didn’t have a season 2020-2021 and I felt every bit of it.

My coach wanted me to be defensive minded for the team so I did. Put all my energy into being the defensive anchor we needed and put my score first ways aside for the team. 

Now I have one year of eligibility left and I want to use it.
