I grew up in and was raised in Kansas City, MO My goals are to be on a team and be coached by someone who trusts me. To grow, learn, and develop. I have played basketball since I was a little girl I'm different I grew up playing street ball and ever since day one I just wanted to get better at this sport physically, mentally, and emotionally. I want to say that people I am around or who know about me usually only see that I play basketball. But since I have said that I want to be a psychologist your mental health should be first. And not a lot of black people have that in their communities. Whenever I tell someone about my plans after High School I immediately bring up basketball because I have been playing since I was little and still playing and now going on my senior year. The people that I'm always around even my grandmas I fight to keep going in life I even inspire myself every day to keep working and trying no matter how hard. If I give up physically or emotionally I refuse to but my mental is too strong to allow that to happen. When people see me they see a short girl five foot in two inches who stays to herself little do they know you're looking at a girl who is passionate about life and sports and a funny/goofy person and laid back and quiet but I'm also friendly and can be very supportive and love teamwork. I would love to go to a college where I feel comfortable. I tried new sports my senior year starting with tennis by going to the camp and playing a tennis season for the school for the first time. I never knew I could be good at something else other than my main sport but I see that footwork is very important and that came from playing basketball and working on footwork.
