Allison Whittle '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I’m Allison, a senior in high school, and I plan on getting a bachelor's degree in an art-related field (currently illustration). I absolutely love art, it’s my life, but one of the only other things that I can compare my love of art to is my love of basketball. I’ve been playing since the 3rd grade, and it’s by far my favorite sport. I have plenty of experience in softball and track to compare it to, too. I love basketball as a sport because of the constant movement (there's never a dull second) and because there is a lot of physical contact. I’m a contact person, someone who feels at home on the post. While I’m decent at scoring, defense has always been my stronger suit. I am also a great student! I have a 3.8 GPA and have won countless art awards from a variety of competitions, ranging anywhere from local to national.
