Macie Wheeler '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve played travel basketball almost my entire life. I realized my true love for the sport my freshman year, which is when my desire to put in outside work to improve my skills began. The hardest thing for me was figuring out my role on the team. However, putting in hard work and just playing my game proved my natural role as a leader. I see the court well and my team rally’s behind my success. Basketball has helped me learn to persevere, work with varying personnel, and build a very strong work ethic. I’m seeking a college that will be a good academic and athletic fit to continue my basketball career.
