Madison Morken '21 Recruiting Profile

With my interest in basketball starting when I was 5 or 6, my love and passion for the sport has grown through experience in travel basketball and especially now through my high school career. My goal is to play at the collegiate level at a college where I can thrive both academically and athletically. I take pride in my grades and wish to keep a 4.0 GPA throughout the rest of high school as well as through college.

As a senior this year I’m starting on varsity once again and have been focusing on my leadership skills. This experience has pushed me outside of my comfort zone which I know is necessary for reaching that next level in my game. I have great court vision and am a team player, along with being both an offensive and defensive threat. Commitment is key and I work hard to improve my skills outside of the season. I believe though that commitment is not the only thing necessary, but also teamwork, a good work-ethic, and sacrifice.
