Sydney Von Bergen '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sydney Von Bergen, I am currently attending Stanford High School. Basketball has always been it for me. It seems as though I have always been in the gym throughout my life. My mom coached high school from the time I was born and I was introduced to the game I love so much. My utmost goal in life is to play basketball at the college level and I have prepared for it my whole life. My parents are very supportive and have pushed me to work on that dream whether it's putting in work on late nights or early mornings. I am a promoter of hard work and working for what you get. As for Academics, I believe that they come before athletics. You cannot be an athlete without being a student. I work hard in all of my studies and I make sure that I am always on top of my coursework. I always make time for homework whether it's before practice or on bus rides. It is very important to me to make sure that I keep on top of my studies. I would love to get the opportunity to play and fulfill my biggest goal.
