I started playing basketball when I was three years old. I love the sport and I have worked hard to
improve on the talent that God has blessed me with. However, as my parents have taught me,
talent is not enough. You have to work at it and I believe you have to respect the sport you play
to become good at it. I do respect it and I have a good work ethic, but I want to get better.
Taking my skills to the highest level over the next two years and is what motivates me. Playing
the multiple position has helped develop me into a leader on and off the court. I am comfortable
dribbling with either hand and I love driving into the paint. Playing club ball for the last 8 years
against stronger competition has helped me grow and develop my skills. Making it to
State my sophomore year was best thing that I could have experienced, and it pushed me to
work harder and work with my team and coaches to get there. I feel that I am a very
coachable player and I also strive to be a good teammate. I want to take all these things and use
them toward not only reaching my goals but my dream to play basketball at the collegiate level.
