Ryan Rodgers '19 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations are high. I have set goals ever since I started basketball in 2nd grade. My primary purpose is to go to college for basketball and be the best I can be, to never let myself down,  to always trying my hardest no matter what, and it's been like that since 2nd grade. My teachers and coaches have always told me that I have the most bubbliest personality, optimistic personality,  sweetest, and most well-rounded. I thank these educators and coaches. They have pushed me to the person I am growing up to be. 

This year being on varsity as freshmen, I was taught that giving 100% was not good enough, but to work 110% at all times. I was taught that freshmen could be just as a good as a senior as long as you put your mind to it. When the going get tough, persevere through the challenges. My coach told me that basketball practice is a place where you can learn from your mistakes and to get better each and every day. I take this motto everywhere with me and apply it to my school work and social life.
