Gabrielle Greene '15 Recruiting Profile

I consider myself a skilled and disciplined basketball player. I am a true team leader, and place my team's interest before that of my own. I lead by example by working hard on and off the court. Individually my biggest contributions to the teams are my dribbling skills, the ability to hit the three point shot, awareness to quickly read the offense and defense of the opposing teams, and my extensive overall knowledge of the game. I also believe strongly in the true definition of the Student Athlete. I currently possess a 3.9 GPA and I was ranked 81 out of 601 students at the end of my sophomore year. In addition to my commitment to athletics, I am involved in the CARE program at school and I also volunteer my time with the Howell Basketball Club where I teach young girls the fundamentals of basketball. I also believe in being an integral part of my community. During last year's Hurricane Sandy, I spent 45 hours assisting my church in organizing food and clothing drives, creating care packages and then delivering them to those most affected by the storm.
