My name is Brianna Casiano and I am currently in my junior year at Atlantic County Institute of Technology. I am enrolled in The Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) program at ACIT. I started my athletic career at 5 years old doing dance and gymnastics. I performed in dance and gymnastics until I started high school. When I started my freshman year of high school, I decided I wanted take my athleticism to a different level and I tried out for basketball. I made it onto the JV basketball team and played some Varsity games as well. I received Most Valuable Player award my freshman year. My sophomore year, I played on the Varsity basketball team and by the end of the season I received the Most Improved Player award. My junior year, I was captain of the Varsity basketball team and was able to develop good leadership skills and encourage the team through even the most difficult times. At the end of the season, I was nominated for First Team All Conference. All three years, I played as the shooting guard and point guard. I am currently on the Lady Starz AAU basketball tournament team. I have also played on the Varsity Softball team since my Freshman year. I rotate between all positions in the outfield.
I would love to attend a college that offers an Architecture program as well as be a part of their basketball program. I believe I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a strong, dedicated, motivated, focused and a competitive athlete. My coaches have told me they can see how much love I have for the game because I never give up and always play hard to the very last second. I also know how important a good education is and that's why I put a lot of time into my academics that is well represented by my grades and GPA.
