Maria Bacigalupo '23 Recruiting Profile

I began playing basketball when I was ten years old. Ever since then, it has been my dream to play in college, and maybe even professionally! I have gone to many different camps and programs with a wide variety of coaching. I have come a long way since then, and now have many solid skills. I have the ability to create plays with good passing, an above average basketball IQ, and a smooth shot. I have had the opportunity to not only play in the post, but also play as a guard. Through this, I have maintained a leading role on each of the teams that I have played for. I am extremely coachable, and the most hardworking player on and off the court. 

In the classroom, I work intensely to maintain a great GPA. I also am a part of the National Honor Society and volunteer for many local community services, including Ministries and other district opportunities.

I want to go to a college where I can push myself to the best of my ability, both in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to a lot of different options, ultimately to find the best fit for me. I want to learn from the best and play at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great player and role model, and make my family proud.
