I've been a starter for St. Mary’s High School Girls Basketball Program for 3 ½ years. After stepping on the basketball court at a young age I’ve always wished to play basketball at the highest collegiate level. This has motivated me each time I stepped on the court whether it’s for individual workouts, playing pick up, practice or playing at a competitive level. Through my experience I’ve encountered many ups and downs. One thing for sure is I never gave up all through many times I’ve come very close. Basketball has helped me mature in many aspects of life. Through much of my success there have been failures, where I’ve gotten back up and fought harder than before. I was more determined and worked harder to become better at my craft.
During my collegiate experience my goal is to be a versatile student-athlete who performs at the highest level both, academically and athletically. I will continue to take pride in being the hardest working player on any team I’m affiliated with on and off the basketball court. I would like to have an immediate impact and contribute any way possible. I will uphold a high GPA and continue to achieve above average grades in honor classes. I am going to push myself past my comfort zone and strive for nothing but the best from teammates and I.
I will be an asset to anyone’s basketball team because “I’m a Winner”!! My tenacious defense, basketball IQ, ability to score the ball and willingness to win will allow me to bring leadership to any collegiate program. My hard work, sacrifice, and determination allows me to stand out amongst others. I am a coachable player, who doesn't mind being a student of the game, learning from both my coaches and teammates.
