I began playing basketball in kindergarten, and growing up, I have always had such a huge passion for this sport. Playing college basketball will allow me to not only become a better basketball player, but also a better individual. Basketball is more than just a game, it's a way for me to express myself, from either communicating with my teammates, to motivating them on and off the court. I began playing high school basketball in 8th grade, where I was the leading scorer on JV, and was pulled up to Varsity for playoffs. In 9th grade, I was leading scorer for my team, received Honorable Mention All County, and was named the 4th best three point shooter in the county, with a total of 52 three pointers. As a 10th grader, I earned Honorable Mention All County for the second consecutive year, and got my team to semi-finals, something that the Plainview girls basketball program has never seen before. Off the court, I have a GPA of 98.1/100, received an academic Underclassman award for Sports Marketing, taking multiple honors and AP courses, co-founder of my new athletic club, a member in 2 honor societies, achieving my MBA, and a member in 5 additional clubs. On and off the court I am very successful, and everyday I am becoming a more well-rounded individual.
