Personal Statement

I am the youngest child in a family full of athletes who are or have competed at the collegiate level. I have watched the commitment and desire for success and have always tried to emulate it. I am lucky to have parents who also played at the college level and who continue to push and teach the game of basketball.

As an 8^th grader, I was fortunate enough to play and start on our varsity team. Our high school has a very competitive program, making it to sectional finals over the past few years. I learned about the type of commitment, teamwork and sacrifice it takes to compete at a very high level. I am interested in finding a great academic school where I can continue playing the game I love. I think I have the skill, work-ethic, and potential to help impact your program.
