My name is Nicole Nietsch. I am a sophomore at Seaford Senior High School in Seaford, New York. Ever since I was younger, I always said I wanted to be a physical education/health teacher but now I am thinking of adding athletic trainer as well to my studies. I work hard in school and my grades show it. More importantly, I like to stay busy and sports is an ideal way. I am active on my school soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams and play basketball and lacrosse on AAU teams outside. As I think of what I want to be involved in while in college, I know it would be Basketball. That is my top favorite activity.
My coaches have always stressed that hard work is the only way to succeed and made me accountable. If you are going to do something, then you better bring 110% to it. This is how I am while playing point guard/shooting guard. In addition to this is the trait of being a leader. A point guard is someone that the team can count on to scream out the plays and always ensure everyone is involved. I have worked hard to develop this trait including most recently being the JV Captain of my basketball team. In addition, I work as a coach for an outside athletic program weekly and conduct my own privates with younger kids. This reinforces everything I want to be and do with my life.
