Personal Statement
I am committed to growing my skill set, expanding my basketball IQ, and physically strengthening my body year round. One of my strengths is my commitment to my team. Whether it is my HS or AAU team, my goal is to win and be successful. I can't win games alone, so it is my goal to try and help my teammates be successful.
I am also a committed student. Academics have always been a priority. This committment comes from a few places. Both of my parents hold graduate degrees and have careers in education, so they have always supported and challenged me to do my best. My older sister was also a great student in high school, finishing 4th in her class and holding the position of President in our school's local chapter of National Honor Society. Academic success has always been a part of my family, so I work my hardest and make it a priority in my life as well.
My overall goal for basketball, for school, and for life in general is to have goals, work hard to achieve them, and be kind and compassionate to others. If I stick to these basic principles, I am confident I will find success.
