Nothing good ever comes easy. Basketball has taught me that. 

 I always push myself and others around me to be the best and I want to prove everyone who says I can’t make it --wrong.  I am a strong defender and am known for announcing my presence in the paint.   I treat my team like an extended family, but I also like to compete. I get a rush on the court, push myself hard and want to play at the collegiate level.  I am excited to meet coaches and see colleges as part of this recruiting process.  I believe I am an asset to any team and will make my college team proud.  I am a team player, and fill whatever role is needed, on and off the court. I have been playing competitive ball since I was 10 years old when I joined an undefeated team that had been playing together for years.  I had to prove my worth and value to that team.  As a freshman attending Gaynor McCown Expeditionary Learning School, I earned a starting spot on the varsity team.  Through hard work and leadership - I made both teams.  Basketball inspires me to push harder, play stronger and keep working.
