Leanna Nohs '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal would be to succeed academically while following my dreams of playing basketball at the collegiate level. What makes me a good candidate for your team is not only my skill, but my work ethic and my ability to be a leader.  I have always strived to be my best self and be the best leader I can be. My first year playing Varsity Basketball was my first year at a new school. However, being new did not stop my teammates and coach from seeing my leadership. I was awarded the honor of being Co-Captain as a Sophomore. 

Not only do I take pride in myself on the court but in the classroom as well. I am a hardworking student who has received numerous academic awards and achievements and is a member of National Honor Society. What makes me stand out is my dedication to the sport off the court. I plan to major in Mathematics and minor in studies such as Sports Management and Sports Analytics. I also aspire to be a role model for the next generation of female athletes.
