My name is Dani Dawson, and I fell in love with the game of basketball at a young age. I started playing basketball in the Upwards Program, and then played at the YMCA before playing for my school. Playing on co-ed Upwards and YMCA teams helped me learn to be a tough player . I played on our JV team in the 6th and 7th grades, but I also played on our varsity team in the 7th grade. When I was in 8th grade, I started for our varsity team as the point guard and took a big responsibility at a young age. I would love to continue to play the game of basketball while I am receiving my college education. I am a hard worker in the class room and on the court.
